SmartHelio is a cleantech startup based out of Lausanne, Switzerland. SmartHelio is revolutionizing the way solar energy is produced. We are a group of people from 10 different nationalities, working together to build the next generation cleantech future.

We are using frontier technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Machine Learning) to disrupt the Renewable Energy industry. We have used decades of real performance data to develop deep algorithms that generate precise technical and financial insights for the solar/renewable value-chain stakeholders. Qualification
Experience with developing & maintaining scalable cloud platforms/solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and their ecosystem
Highly skilled with at least one of these back-end programming languages/frameworks {{Ex:Node.js Python(Django/Flask), Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, golang, etc.}}
Highly skilled in backend software development, writing APIs and designing scalable architecture.
Should have experience in building UI elements using any of the frontend technologies such as ReacJS, Angular, VueJS or any other Javascript Framework.
Past experience with Server Backend Distributed systems and proven work experience as a Full Stack Developer (front/back-end)
Excellent working knowledge of databases (structured and unstructured, including big data) 6. Experience in UI design and dashboard development
Minimum work experience of 3 years; in the case of exceptionally good candidates these criteria can be relaxed
Willingness to explore and learn big data systems and compute platforms
Willingness to work in a fast-paced start-up environment

Nice to have
Experience with the virtual environments
Experience with containers and container orchestration
Working knowledge of Data Analytics/Science
Experience with advanced visualization tools

What will we do together?
Design the overall architecture of the new cloud-based applications (SmartHelio’s AI platforms) 2. Design and develop the database strategies and schemas
Develop, deliver and maintain the cloud-run applications and services
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications/cloud-run services 5. Collaborate with the rest of the teams to design and launch additional/new features and services 6. Develop and maintain the source codes and algorithms
Develop excellent analytics dashboards for the end-users
Implementation of cyber security and data protection schemes
Optimize and stabilize the overall service architecture (frontend and backend) from both engineering and commercial point of view
Take the ownership to incorporate customer feedback & release service updates from time to time 
Take ownership of the product launch (internal, beta, and final launch of the products) 
Provide technical support and take ownership of the field support mechanism 
Maintain proper documentation at each level of the development and operation

Compensation & Benefits
