SmartHelio is a clean-tech start-up based in Lausanne, Switzerland and has a team in Bangalore. We provide real-time and automated diagnostic and prescriptive solution to solar companies using our proprietary edge computing based sensor and intelligent software.
SmartHelio wants to be the doctor for solar plants: we remotely diagnose existing problems, predict faults and prescribe solutions in real time. Our team is made up of highly skilled engineers and scientists with deep domain knowledge of solar technology and data science. The company has developed a cost effective Edge Computing IoT device(HelioHealth, FitBit for Solar), world’s first in its category, that collects and processes data at the panel level using its proprietary physics-based algorithms.
SmartHelio provide a dashboard or fully integrate into the existing customers’ IT platform. SmartHelio is deploying AI on Edge devices to reduce the cost of data collection, storage, and processing without compromising the quality of analytics services. This empower energy developers and managers to maintain their assets consistently at a high-performance level with minimum human intervention. SmartHelio is able to generate 5% extra energy and optimize 30% of O&M effort.
