Propelld is a Bangalore based FinTech startup specializing in lending in the Education segment backed by Stellaris
Ventures, India Quotient, Indian Angel Network, and Raghunandan (Taxiforsure). Founded by IIT, IIM, FMS alumni,
the core team consists of strong finance and operations background from companies such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche
Bank, New Silk Route, Schlumberger, and Udaan. 

We work with more than 350 Institutes across Skilling, EdTech, Vocational, and coaching segments. With an annual disbursal run rate of INR 500 Crores and NPAs below 1%, we are one of the best managed & quickest growing loan portfolios. The startup has raised more than 4 million dollars in funding from Stellaris VP, India Quotient, Indian Angel Network till now and new rounds of funding are in line.

Having achieved strong business fundamentals (turned EBIDTA profitable recently) we have also attracted the attention
of blue-chip investors (PS: confidential until announced officially) and are eyeing towards listing within the next 3 years.
Propelld’s current product is a managed tech pipeline between Institutes and Lenders with many first of its kind
innovations in partner sales enablement, credit journey, risk management, servicing and collections.

Professional Requirements:
2+ Years professional development experience.
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Good understanding of high level and low-level design of distributed systems.
Experience coding in any one of the following Java, Nodejs.
Experience building highly available distributed systems on cloud infrastructure will be plus.
Exposure to architectural pattern of a large, high-scale web application.
Role Requirement/Responsibilities:
To take a project from scoping requirements through launch of the project.
Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production.
Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns.
Work closely with senior engineers for refining the and implementation.
Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
Participate in design and code reviews.
