Overview

Phlebotomists are responsible for dealing with a variety of situations, and they should be prepared for anything. They should be able to handle a situation in which a patient has an adverse reaction to the blood draw. They should also be able to handle a situation in which a patient is uncooperative or disruptive. Candidates should be able to describe how they handled the situation and what they learned from it.
